“I just wanted to say thank you for providing a valuable service to us and Tom our beautiful cat who sadly deteriorated in his illness on Saturday. When it became clear waiting until Monday was not an option we were advised of your service and called you on Sunday.
Tom died peacefully while we held him in the corner of the garden he had chosen to die.
You were both truly a god send.

Murphy was a good old boy who had a great 15 years of life.
You bonded with him immediately and put us both at ease at what was a really distressing and difficult time. You explained the process so carefully and with compassion, this helped us both immensely.
Murphy was such a special boy and we have shed many tears since your visit, we were so pleased that he had such a beautiful and peaceful passing, being able to share our stories with you and the kind words you said to us showed that you are both perfectly suited for what is such a sensitive task.
You gave us the right amount of space to allow us to give him hugs and kisses and say goodbye.
Poor Zak is a bit lost without him but I am sure you made it easier for him that night.

“I know everyone knows their pet is the best but Simon really was something very, very special. He'd known appalling cruelty before I got him and had been blinded, but he was the sweetest, friendliest, most trusting little fella who had been my constant companion through the toughest of times. Because he'd had so much veterinary intervention after his injury and also because he couldn't see, he could get a bit stressed and panicky at the vets.
When he got poorly, I wanted to be sure that the last thing he knew was kind hands on him and a last cuddle in his own home.
Calling Peaceful Paws was the absolute best thing I could have done for him. Tom and Laurie were amazing and incredibly compassionate - both with Simon and with me - and he didn't even realise they were vets. Drifting off on my lap at a ripe old age was the peaceful, dignified ending that he deserved.
So much thought has gone into Peaceful Paws' service and I couldn't recommend them highly enough..”

“I just wanted to reach out and say a very heartfelt thank you for your advice, support and compassion when you came to visit us at home a few weeks ago.
It was an extremely sad and difficult time but we were all truly blessed to have you both. Alfie would have absolutely hated a car journey to a vet, instead he was able to be at home on his favourite bed with us all around him while he enjoyed some sausage. He was relaxed and peaceful. We would also like to thank Alex at iCare Pet crematorium for his kindness and compassion. We had a few hours with Alfie before Alex collected him and it was actually really lovely to have that time to spend sharing memories with Alfie at peace near us.
